Sudbury/Nipissing United Way takes in Timmins – Ontario News

United Way for Sudbury and Nipissing districts announced Thursday it will expand its territory to include the Cochrane and Timiskaming districts effective April 1, 2017. The decision was made jointly between United Way Centraide Sudbury and/et Nipissing Districts and United Way Cochrane-Timiskaming to ensure a sustainable presence and achieve greater impact within the community. Those who attended the announcement included, from left, Samantha Goulet, of Downtown Timmins Business Improvement Association, Timmins Mayor Steve Black, Michael Cullen, executive director of United Way Sudbury, Fern Tremblay, founder of original United Way in Timmins, and Kelly Sinclair, donor relations manager of United Way Sudbury.
