Ontario’s Green Party leader will be in Peterborough Saturday.
Mike Schreiner will visit the city during a spring tour of the province, meeting community leaders and discussing local and provincial issues, including rising electricity prices.
He’ll be at the Farmers’ Market Saturday at 11 a.m. Before touring Harper Park with Kim Zippel, co-founder and chair of the Harper Park Stewardship Initiative.
After that, he’ll meet with local residents at Sadleir House from 2:45-4 p.m.
He’s in Cobourg Sunday.
Schreiner, a Toronto businessman, has served as leader since 2009. He is not an MPP; the Green Party has never held a seat in Ontario’s Legislature.
