SCUGOG — The Port Perry’s McDonald’s restaurant and Rosario Greco Styles were honoured as the community’s top businesses at the Scugog Chamber of Commerce’s Awards of Excellence evening on March 23.
The Business of the Year awards were handed out at the chamber’s annual general meeting, which was held at the Scugog Community Centre.
Rosario Greco Styles took the title in the Under-15 Employees category, while McDonald’s was the winner in the 15-Employees and Over category.
“These business leaders in our community have shown their significant business achievements in the 2016 year and have demonstrated their active involvement in business associations and in our community through their participation in service organizations and charities,” said the Scugog chamber in a release to announce the 2016 winners.
Also nominated for the awards were Port Perry Dental, Trading Post, Willowtree Farms, Communicate Freely, Old Flame Brewing Co. and the Standard.
