Police board helps telethon | Sault Star – Ontario News

 

Sault Ste. Marie Police Services Board cut a $500 cheque for Easter Seals Telethon.

The fundraiser was held Sunday.

The board traditionally makes a $500 contribution to help Sault Ste. Marie youngsters with physical disabilities.

Members from our service will be on the panel during the telethon,” said Staff Sgt. Jane Martynuck in a letter to the board. “This continues to allow the public to see our officers in a positive manner helping out our community.”

The telethon raised $107,896.
