Sault Ste. Marie Police Services Board cut a $500 cheque for Easter Seals Telethon.
The fundraiser was held Sunday.
The board traditionally makes a $500 contribution to help Sault Ste. Marie youngsters with physical disabilities.
“Members from our service will be on the panel during the telethon,” said Staff Sgt. Jane Martynuck in a letter to the board. “This continues to allow the public to see our officers in a positive manner helping out our community.”
The telethon raised $107,896.
