Police have charged a 19-year-old man with impaired driving causing death in a crash last fall west of London that killed an elderly woman.
A GMC pickup truck travelling north on Vanneck Road collided with a Dodge car in the intersection at Egremont Drive on Nov. 26, police said.
The Dodge then collided with a Honda travelling west on Egremont Drive.
The Honda’s driver, 81-year-old Marion Satchwill of Strathroy-Caradoc, died. Two teenage passengers in the Dodge were injured.
Middlesex OPP announced charges Wednesday against Allan Waller-Guest, 19, of London. He’s charged with multiple offences, including dangerous operation of a vehicle causing death and driving with more than 80 milligrams of alcohol in 100 millilitres of blood causing death.
